Eden Park South Stand

Eden Park is New Zealand’s National stadium with a capacity of 50,000. The South Stand was redeveloped in preparation for the 2011 Rugby World Cup. It is a three-tier 55,000 seat structure, and the first major ethylene tetrafluorethylene (ETFE) clad structure in New Zealand.

DBM Vircon’s Scope of Work:

Working with Culham Engineering, DBM Vircon’s scope of work included construction modelling of 1,428t of structural steelwork and the creation of 8,615 fabrication drawings.
