Commercial Bay

The Commercial Bay project transformed Auckland’s central business district and waterfront, bringing together world class commercial space, public transport, international quality retail, public spaces and hospitality environments. At the heart of Commercial Bay is a striking 39-level tower and at the base, a three-level retail precinct with rooftop bars and restaurants.

DBM Vircon’s Scope of Work:

Working for Culham Engineering Company, DBM Vircon’s scope of work included construction modelling of 6,690t of structural steelwork and the creation of 13,120 fabrication drawings for the tower and most of the podium.
