2022 was exceptionally challenging and interesting for the whole world, with the ongoing pandemic, economic uncertainties, and global borders reopening shaping the year. DBM Vircon team members responded with hard work and a great commitment, and we celebrate their efforts.
As we prepare for the new year, we’d like to reflect on some highlights from last year.

Google and the Bay View project was awarded by the Engineering News-Record 2022 Global Best Office Project award.

2) New Offices
Our teams in Perth, Brisbane, Vancouver and Chennai have now moved to bigger offices to accommodate their continued growth. With these new workplaces, we believe the business will be able to grow and develop more effectively.
3) People Milestones
At DBM Vircon, we continue to pursue ways to strengthen the company by recruiting, managing and looking after People who take pride in making commendable contributions. Our ongoing objective is to be an employer of choice – for the best People in our industry to choose to work for us long-term. We take pride in saying that 140 team members celebrated Loyalty Milestones with DBM Vircon in 2022 inclusive of 20, 25 and 30 years. 96 people were promoted across the organization for their commitment to personal development.
4) Company Initiatives
As part of our commitment to integrity, excellence, collaboration, respect, and empathy, DBM Vircon has taken on 2 major initiatives: the MATE Bystander Program and the Reflection Reconciliation Action Plan. We have partnered with Griffith University’s MATE Bystander Program so that we can all learn the skills to “Be Someone Who Does Something” in the prevention of discrimination, harassment, and disrespect. We have taken our first steps by associating with Reconciliation Australia to build a truly inclusive working environment—an environment in which all people are valued equally and have equitable access to opportunities.
5) Events Participation
In 2022, we certainly had the opportunity to exchange ideas and insights with members of the industry in person. DBM Vircon was delighted to be a part of some major industry events. Our teams from across the globe represented DBM Vircon at – ASI 2022 Steel Convention, Sydney Build Expo, Women in BIM, BILT Europe Conference and Hong Kong Innovation Expo.
We look forward to greater achievements in 2023!
