project overview:

The Wilshire Grand is a 1,100 feet tall skyscraper in the heart of downtown, Los Angeles. The 73-story building is the tallest building west of the Mississippi River with an open, energetic environment where indoor and outdoor relationships are created at every practical opportunity. It is spectacular day and night with floor-to-ceiling glass windows and the vistas from the hotel rooms and office space will be filled with natural light.

Wilshire Grand Project Details:

This project transformed the former Wilshire Grand Hotel site into a sophisticated, world-class destination that includes InterContinental Los Angeles Downtown Hotel, commercial offices and retail space.

DBM Vircon’s Scope of Work:

Working with Schuff Steel, DBM Vircon’s scope of work included the construction modeling and drawings extraction of the structural steelwork for the podium and tower.
