Salesforce Tower, formerly known as the Transbay Tower, is a 1,070 ft (326 m) super tall skyscraper under construction in the South of Market district of downtown San Francisco.
Located at 415 Mission Street between First and Fremont Streets, next to the Transbay Transit Center, Salesforce Tower is the centerpiece of the San Francisco Transbay redevelopment plan that contains a mix of office, transportation, and residential uses. At the time of construction, the tower was set to be the tallest in San Francisco and a defining building in the burgeoning South of Market area. The structure is concrete core construction with embed plates that the steelwork ties into for stability with an outer façade of steel columns and beams.
DBM Vircon complete the detailing of podium steelwork and roof steelwork working closely with Herrick Steel, in partnership with Thai Herrick who completed the repetitive detailing works of levels 6 to level 59.
It is our unique combination of experience, expertise and technology that turns complex data into intelligent and context rich models.
