What is your favourite thing about working for DBM Vircon and the work you do?
One of my favourite things about working for DBM Vircon is the help I get from all my colleagues. Even if they’re busy when I ask for assistance, they will help me straight away. Another favourite thing about working at DBM Vircon is the flexibility of working hours. As a parent with 2 young kids it’s hard to keep a balance between work and family but at DBM Vircon I’m able to juggle between work and family and this is very important to me.
How has your career been during your time at DBM Vircon?
I started as a Cadet back in 2013. During my years working at DBM Vircon, I’ve been involved in a lot of different types of work; facing new challenges with every project from which I gained a lot of knowledge in my structural detailing journey.
What are some of your personal and professional achievements?
My biggest personal achievement was saving up and helping my parents buy a house. My second personal achievement are my two beautiful children, a big thank you to my partner for helping me raise them.
My biggest professional achievement so far is receiving the job offer from DBM Vircon. I was 18 when I started as a Cadet and completed 4 years of learning/training. I have been with DBM Vircon for over 10 years now and hopefully many more years to go!
