What is your favorite thing about working for DBM Vircon and the work you do?
My favourite thing working for DBM Vircon is the culture. I’m surrounded by a team who place immense trust in each person’s ability to deliver on some genuinely interesting and exciting work. This makes it easy to succeed at DBM Vircon as you’re surrounded by go-getters and people who are experts in their respective fields who are always willing to share their knowledge. This environment makes you be better and do better. Even with the fast-paced environment, there is still a strong and nurturing support network who always have your back or give you a helping hand when needed.

How has your career been during your time at DBM Vircon?
Over the past five years, time has flown! My professional career started at DBM Vircon as a cadet. Through the cadetship program, I was supported on-the-ground training and was able to learn from positive and knowledgeable mentors who taught me a lot about the construction industry. Since finishing the cadetship and transitioning into the Digital Engineering team I have been trusted with being the sole coordinator for a project and essentially the face of DBM Vircon to our clients. This is something I am very grateful to be trusted with and gives me a lot of confidence going forward in my career.
What are some of your personal and professional achievements?
There are a few things that come to mind. In my earlier career being a part of a team, which delivered complex steel detailing models to a range of clients in the commercial and resource sector. Another achievement is I am currently balancing full-time university study with full-time work, however, this would not be possible without the flexibility and support provided by DBM Vircon.
