Our Digital Engineering team is on the move sharing their latest and greatest innovations with the construction industry.
First, off the rank, Russell Bell shared his experience with a consultant’s perspective on the openBIM strategic seminar, Getting it Right: Perspectives on Building Management and Works implementation of BIM and openBIM Deliverables on 11th June.
Next followed Alastair Brook presenting at the Infrastructure Association of Queensland BIM 2023 – Are You Ready? event, supporting our client via model demonstrations and fielding technical questions related to the Cross River Rail project.
Backing that up, Alastair together with Peter Quick, Director, Program Controls of Cross River Rail Development Authority (CRRDA) provided an insight into how CRRDA is implementing Queensland Government’s Digital Enablement for Queensland Infrastructure policy for Engineers Australia (Cross River Rail – Vision of Digital Enablement).
And we didn’t stop there, DBM Vircon dominated the BIM industry nights as Alastair and Nick Rostin carried out simultaneous presentations at the BrisBIM and MelBIM events respectively. Alastair’s presentation focused on Cross River Rail while Nick discussed a case study on the adoption and implementation of facility management workflows on the new Queens Wharf Integrated Resort Development.
To round out a packed few weeks, Gabor Gulyas with Nick in attendance presented at the recent EAT+drink event night. This event was sponsored by DBM Vircon and acts as a social platform in which emerging engineers, architects, town planners have a chance to meet and share their experiences while hearing about industry developments.
