This Data Center in Ohio, marked an important milestone in the owner’s expansion into the Midwest. Strategically located near major fiber corridors and within a rapidly growing technology district, the facility was developed to support high-demand cloud services, enterprise applications, and AI-based computing platforms.
Designed with efficiency, scalability, and security in mind, the facility features high-load steel structures, elevated mechanical platforms, and precision-integrated MEP systems. The architectural layout prioritized equipment access, thermal management, and future expansion potential. Its location in a master-planned technology park enabled streamlined utility integration and expedited permitting.
DBM Vircon was engaged to deliver detailed LOD 400 models for both structural steel and MEP systems using Tekla and Revit. The team provided fabrication-ready outputs, coordinated layouts, and constructability insights during preconstruction and early field mobilization.
Through early BIM integration, DBM Vircon enabled rapid issue resolution and alignment between trade partners, minimizing rework and maintaining the project’s aggressive delivery schedule. The success of this project laid the groundwork for subsequent expansions in the region.
