Data Center 2

This Data Center in Texas was developed to meet the demands of the owner’s expanding cloud infrastructure and AI-based services. Strategically located in the Dallas–Fort Worth region, the facility supports both regional data delivery and global redundancy requirements. The design and construction teams worked under a compressed timeline to achieve early turnover milestones.

Confidential Data Center Project Details:

Engineered for rapid scalability, the facility includes high-bay data halls, secured support areas, and large-scale mechanical yards. The Texas climate required particular emphasis on thermal load mitigation and system redundancy. The structural steel design was tailored for modular expansion, while interior MEP systems were densely routed to maximize rack capacity per square foot.

DBM Vircon’s Scope of Work:

DBM Vircon delivered LOD 400 steel and MEP models, coordinating across multiple software platforms including Tekla and Revit. The team played a critical role in refining routing paths, maintaining fabrication-level accuracy, and ensuring that off-site prefabrication could be executed with minimal field adjustment.

By integrating early with fabrication and construction teams, DBM Vircon helped enable just-in-time steel deliveries and optimized the sequencing of MEP installation. The result was a fast-tracked delivery that upheld both performance and constructability standards.
