City Tech Academic Building

The City Tech Academic Building, located across the main campus of the New York City College of Technology, is an addition to the largest public college of technology in the Northeast.

City Tech Academic Building Project Overview:

The LEED-Silver certified building features a high performance glazing system and natural daylighting. The building consists of house classrooms, laboratories, offices, centers, 1,000-seat auditorium and a spectator gymnasium.

DBM Vircon’s Scope of Work:

Working with Owen Steel, DBM Vircon’s scope of work included the 3D BIM modeling and detailing of 4,500 tons of structural steel work on the main academic building and the auditorium catwalk framings.
