Engineers Australia’s Council has recently approved a sixth board member for the new College of Leadership and Management (CLM), Ms Lorie Jones FIEAust CPEng NPER, Principal Consultant with PDC, responsible for environmental management and systems engineering services.
The College will be the home for engineers who are leaders in the community, have management roles in their organization or who are technical specialists in an area not already covered by the eight discipline specific Colleges. Priorities will be engagement with divisional CELM branches and the design of pathways for membership of the college.
Lorie is a Past President of Engineers Australia (WA Division), and continues to be an active member. She has a strong background in strategic planning and risk assessment, stakeholder engagement, environmental impact assessment, regulatory approvals, auditing and compliance with over thirty years of experience in project engineering, business development and management roles for major international engineering consulting firms. Lorie’s significant leadership and professional experience is an asset to PDC’s structure and the new College of Leadership and Management.
