This Data Center in Ohio marked the owner’s continued investment in digital infrastructure across the state. The facility provides critical data capacity while enhancing regional computing power and system resilience. The site was strategically positioned to support major population centers in the Midwest and Northeast.
Designed for high operational uptime and scalability, the facility features robust structural steel systems supporting extensive rooftop mechanical installations. The MEP design was focused on redundancy, thermal efficiency, and secure zone separation, enabling flexible operation across varying system loads.
DBM Vircon contributed LOD 400 BIM deliverables for the steel and MEP scopes, ensuring all elements were constructible, clash-free, and fabrication-ready. Using Tekla and Revit, the team enabled early procurement, modular assembly planning, and precise lift coordination.
This project highlighted DBM Vircon’s ability to integrate with a fast-paced field schedule while minimizing on-site adjustments and aligning all trades around a single source of model truth.
