Finalist in Western Australia Industry and Export Awards 2015

DBM Vircon have been listed as a Finalist in the prestigious Western Australian Industry and Export Awards 2015. The awards focus on innovative and leading business who are increasing trade and export in Western Australia. DBM Vircon is one of only 16 finalists with the winners to announced at the Gala presentation at the Hyatt Regency Perth on Friday 16 October, 2015.

DBM Vircon received four nominations including:

  • Business Services Export Awards
  • Information and Communication Technology Export Awards
  • CY O’Connor Award for Excellence in Engineering and Technology
  • Innovation Excellence Awards

In the Media statement from the Commerce Minister, Michael Mischin today revealed the 16 finalists for this year’s awards displaying excellence in a variety of business activities which showcase the ingenuity and enterprising spirit of the State.

“The finalists come from many areas of endeavour, including agribusiness, marketing and design, minerals and energy, construction, biotechnology and small business,” Mr Mischin said.

“The awards, now in their 27th year, acknowledge the innovation, hard work and success of businesses, both large and small, in accessing new markets.”

“The awards also recognise the important contribution Western Australian businesses make to the local economy through job creation and increased prosperity.”

Western Australian winners of export categories will automatically become finalists in the national Australian Export Awards.
