PDC’s own Greg Brawley recently was asked to write an article on Steel Detailing in the industry. Greg has been with PDC for over 5 years as a mentor, Technical Resource, Trainer and Project manager and has over 48 years’ experience with steel detailing. He is an integral part of PDC’s learning and development program passing on his enormous wealth of knowledge to the up and comers of the industry. Greg owned and operated his own steel detailing company in Northern California for over 30 years. As a firm owner and active member of the National Institute of Steel Detailing he served on the Board of Directors of that association, National Membership Chairman and Chairman of the NISD Industry Standard Committee. His service on the Industry Standard Committee culminated in the publication of the NISD Industry Standard, a steel detailing industry guideline document, that remains as a part of the NISD Library of publications.
