DBM Vircon has been recognised as one of the top 10 fastest growing, private companies in Western Australia at the 2015 WA Business News Rising Stars Awards.
The awards, which honour and celebrate WA’s star business growth performers, are open to all industries and are judged across a number of metrics including revenue and staff growth, as well as strategy, capability and commitment.
While headline numbers are taken into account, entrants must also demonstrate a solid business growth strategy and a commitment to continuing manageable business development. Contribution to community and charities is also taken into consideration.
The judging committee was impressed with DBM Vircon’s rapid growth and commercial success in its short three-year history, which has seen the company’s revenue increase by over 600% in the last 12 months.
DBM Vircon provides BIM Management Consulting services and continues to commercialize iConstruct, its innovative BIM software tool.
iConstruct now has over 100 clients internationally in the commercial building, mining and oil & gas sectors, including six of the top 10 US General Contractors.
Managing Director Shawn Weir said that a strong, diverse team and innovative approach to technology was the key to DBM Vircon’s increasing success.
