AVEVA invited PDC to present at the AVEVA World Summit in Berlin, Germany on the 14-16th October. Rod Bird, Program Director AIM/BIM represented PDC and delivered a presentation on Introducing 3D Technology to Inherently Unstable Mega-Projects. There where over 300 attendees comprised mainly of international EPC and Owner Operators from 32 different countries.
Rods, Intro from the programme below: Rod will identify lessons learned and explore the barriers to the emerging combination of information technology/industrial technology and how AIM technology bridges that gap. He will discuss how PDC has innovated in a rapidly changing market and produced more with less and found that data and model interoperability measures are largely ineffectual if you do not understand and manage the dynamic nature of project information first.
