PDC is pleased to announce the acquisition of Precision Drafting Australia (PDA) a Darwin based steel detailing and drafting company.
PDC have historically been shareholders of PDA and this complete merger will allow PDC to offer a wider range of services to the Northern Territory through the existing office base in the region. PDA have had a strong detailing presence in the Northern Territory and across Australia for nearly 30 years and have a fantastic working relationship with PDC. The Darwin office now compliments our Perth and Brisbane locations in Australia and our Asia Pacific and North American locations overseas. Bringing PDA into PDC will enable both parties to deliver a full engineering service, increase and diversify market penetration and add to the company’s already substantial technical capacity.
PDA will trade as PDC moving forward and, while undergoing a change in branding, will still offer the first class service it has historically provided. Tom Roberts will take on the role of Regional Manager in the Northern Territory and the team within the Darwin office will not change. The PDC Northern Territory office will be the local contact for clients and services, fully supported by PDC’s global organization and services.
